Avaira Contact Lenses

CooperVision, one of the world’s leading contact lens companies, first released Avaira contacts in 2008. The contacts featured CooperVision’s proprietary Aquaform® Technology, which attracts and binds water throughout the contacts to retain moisture. Avaira contacts were also made of a highly breathable silicone hydrogel material that allowed plenty of oxygen to reach the eyes.

In 2010, CooperVision released Avaira Toric contacts for people with astigmatism. Aside from Aquaform Technology, Avaira Toric contacts featured Optimized Lens Geometry, a multifaceted design meant to ensure stability, precision, and comfort.

In 2016, CooperVision discontinued Avaira contacts and replaced them with Avaira Vitality contacts. This newer lens came with new features, such as Class 1 UV protection and a higher water content (55%). Class 1 lenses can block 96% of UVA rays and 100% of UVB rays, making them perfect for people who like to spend time outdoors. The high water content of Avaira Vitality contacts also made them very comfortable for beginners and young lens wearers.

CooperVision also released Avaira Vitality Toric contacts in 2016. Like the regular Avaira Vitality contacts, these toric lenses came with a higher water content (55%) and Class 1 UV protection. They also featured Optimized Lens Geometry for predictable orientation and excellent stability.

Biofinity Contacts – The Complete Line of Biofinty Contacts

Biofinity contact lenses, manufactured by CooperVision, are one of the most comfortable and convenient contact lenses available on the market. The Biofinity brand of contact lenses are the only monthly disposable lenses made with Aquaform Technology—a combination of material technologies that results in a uniquely comfortable and high-performing lens that’s only available through CooperVision.

Available Biofinty contact lenses include; Biofinty, Biofinity Energys, Biofinity Multifocal (for presbyopia), and Biofinity Toric (for astigmatism). The Biofinity brand consists of monthly disposable contact lenses, which means they are designed to be replaced after 30 days of usage. They are also approved by the FDA for up to seven days of continuous wear; however, removing and cleaning the lenses each night is recommended for maximum performance. While the manufacturer recommends a monthly replacement schedule, it’s important to consult with an eye care professional about which replacement schedule is right for you.

Biomedics Contacts

Biomedics contact lenses are manufactured by CooperVision, the third-largest soft contact lens manufacturer in the world. Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Pleasanton, CA, CooperVision manufacturers a wide range of lenses with various replacement schedules. In addition to Biomedics contacts, CooperVision manufactures Biofinity, Proclear, and Avaira contacts. Biomedics contacts are designed for wearers with specific vision correction needs and who prefer a convenient replacement schedule. If you’re looking for aspherical lenses, toric lenses, or lenses that resist dryness, CooperVision’s line of Biomedics contact lenses could be the right choice for you.

Biomedics contact lenses come in many different forms to accommodate many different needs. Biomedics XC contacts are a great choice for contact lens wearers who want to ensure that their lenses stay moist and comfortable all day long. CooperVision relies on PC Technology to attract water to the eyes and keep contact lenses hydrated and feeling fresh throughout the day. Short for Phosphorylcholine, PC is a material that’s naturally found in human cell membranes. For this reason, Biomedics XC contacts remain comfortable throughout the wearing period by keeping the eyes moist. Biomedics XC contact lenses are offered in a two-week replacement schedule, meaning you’ll need to replace your contact lenses every other week. If you prefer to wear your contact lenses on a daily replacement schedule, there’s Biomedics 1 Day.

Biomedics 55 Premier is an aspheric contact lens designed to control the spherical aberration in the lens and the eye. Spherical aberration is the inability of a lens to focus light on a common point. Biomedics 55 Premier contacts are optimized to focus the light precisely, resulting in clearer, crisper, and sharper image quality—regardless of your prescription. Additionally, by utilizing a rounded-edge design, these contacts provide great comfort. For those who want or need comfortable contacts with lower water content, try Biomedics 38.

CooperVision also offers Biomedics Toric lenses for patients with astigmatism. Due to its chiseled edge and stable performance, this soft hydrogel choice is a great choice to correct the effects caused by astigmatism. If you have astigmatism and are looking for quality contact lenses in a convenient two-week replacement schedule, Biomedics Toric lenses are the choice for you.

With any product in the Biomedics product line, you can expect a premium wearing experience from a trusted name in eye care, CooperVision. Since 1995, Lens.com has been proud to offer high-quality contact lenses, including Biomedics contacts, at discount prices. Order Biomedics brand contacts from Lens.com and enjoy hassle-free returns, quick shipping, and a 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee.

Biotrue Contact Lenses

Bausch + Lomb, a leading global eye health company, first released Biotrue contacts in 2012. The contacts are made from HyperGel™, the next generation of Daily Disposable material. According to the company, HyperGel has the best features of conventional hydrogels and silicone hydrogels. Biotrue contacts also offer high water content and allow oxygen to reach the eye. As a bio-inspired product, Biotrue contacts retain their shape and moisture, even after several hours of wear.

Boston Contact Lenses

Bausch + Lomb’s Boston contacts are RGP lenses. Also known as hard contacts, RGP lenses are made of durable plastics that allow oxygen to pass through the lens to keep the eye healthy.

Unlike soft contact lens brands, Boston brand contacts and other RGP lenses are extremely durable. This means they are easier to handle and less likely to tear. In fact, each pair of Boston contacts can be worn daily for up to a year before they need to be replaced, as long as they are properly cleaned and stored every day.

Like most RGP lenses, Boston contacts also retain their shape when you blink, which is why they generally give clearer, crisper vision than soft contact lens brands. They can also be made into a wide range of parameters to address demanding visual needs, from common refractive errors like nearsightedness and farsightedness to rare corneal conditions like keratoconus.

Additionally, Boston contacts have little to no water content. This makes them naturally resistant to protein and deposit buildup that can otherwise irritate the eyes.

Note that some Boston brand contacts come with handling tints and built-in UV protection, while others have to be custom-made to include those special features.

Clariti Contact Lenses

CooperVision, one of the world’s leading contact lens manufacturers, released Clariti 1 Day contacts in 2009. The first net plastic neutral contact lens brand in the United States, Clariti 1 Day contacts allowed eco-conscious consumers to feel better about using daily disposable lenses.

In 2014, CooperVision released Clariti 1 Day Multifocal contacts, which were one of the world’s first multifocal one-day lenses made of silicone hydrogel at the time. As silicone hydrogel lenses, Clariti 1 Day Multifocal contacts allowed more oxygen to reach the eye than traditional hydrogel lenses.

In 2015, CooperVision released Clariti 1 Day Toric contacts for lens wearers with astigmatism. These toric lenses combined high oxygen transmission, high water content, and a low modulus for all-day comfort. They also featured optimized ballast toric design to ensure a stable, comfortable fit.

Clearsight Contact Lenses

ClearSight contacts from CooperVision are daily disposable lenses. Also known as dailies, daily disposable lenses are designed to be thrown away after a day’s use. Because of their frequent replacement schedule, dailies like ClearSight contacts are less prone to deposit buildup that can otherwise cause irritation.

Dailies like ClearSight contacts are also convenient, especially for new and young lens wearers. Simply throw away your contacts at the end of the day and wear a brand new pair of contacts in the morning.

Another great thing about ClearSight contacts is they have an established design that minimizes the interaction between your eyelids and the lenses. This translates to a greater level of comfort. ClearSight contacts also have a high water content to keep your eyes moist all day.

Dailies Contact Lenses

DAILIES® brand contact lenses are manufactured by Alcon, a global leading eyewear company. Known for their convenience and comfort, DAILIES contacts allow wearers to start with a fresh pair of lenses every day for bright, healthy-looking eyes. The DAILIES brand is a family of soft contacts that provide vision correction for a variety of eye care needs and lifestyles.

Extreme H2O Contact Lenses

The Extreme H2O brand of contact lenses are manufactured by X-Cel Specialty Contacts, a division of Walman Optical. Their goal is to offer a wide range of specialty contact lenses that address the various needs and desires of contact lens wearers. In cases where products or solutions that the wearer needs aren’t offered regularly, X-Cel Specialty Contacts also makes custom lenses with the aim of providing a vision correction solution for everyone.

Extreme H2O Weekly contacts are weekly disposable lenses designed in three different diameters—13.6, 14.2, and 14.8—to ensure maximum comfort for the wearer. Extreme H2O contacts became available in different diameters in response to a study conducted by Pacific University that showed that 27% of patients would benefit from a smaller or larger diameter lens than what was typically offered. Additionally, an even larger percentage of patients reported comfort issues due to the size of their lens. In offering different diameters, Extreme H2O contacts are able to provide a more comfortable lens. Extreme H2O Weekly contacts are also unique because of the weekly replacement schedule. A new lens at the start of every week offers a great balance between the health benefits of a daily disposable lens and the cost savings of a two-week disposable lens.

For contact lens wearers looking for a high-quality lens that they only have to replace every month, X-Cel Specialty Contacts offers Extreme H2O Monthly. These monthly contact lenses are made from a special material called hioxifilcon D which has naturally moist qualities. These lenses are able to retain 97% of original water content throughout the day, keeping the lenses comfortable and eliminating the need for eye drops. Extreme H2O Monthly contacts also utilize an ultra-stable copolymer, which helps keep the lens in place and vision clear throughout the day.

Focus Contact Lenses

The Focus Dailies Progressive contact lenses are designed for people who suffer from presbyopia. These contact lenses are the only daily disposable multifocal contact lenses available for patients with presbyopia.

Frequency Contact Lenses

Frequency 55 contact lenses are manufactured by CooperVision, one of the leading names in eye care health products. The Frequency 55 line of contact lenses are monthly disposable contacts, which means that they’re worn for a full 30 days before needing to be replaced with a brand new pair. This replacement schedule offers a high level of convenience as well as cost savings because contact lens wearers don’t need to replace them on a daily or weekly basis.

Frequency 55 contacts are spherical lenses and deliver excellent vision whether a person is nearsighted or farsighted. CooperVision uses their patented UltraSync Technology to produce incredibly precise edges on their lenses. In addition, UltraSync Technology provides stability and reduces rotation which ensures comfort for the wearer. In a further effort to make Frequency 55 contacts as convenient for the wearer as possible, CooperVision includes a subtle tint to their lenses which makes them easier to find in solution. The tint does not alter the color that the wearer sees, or the color of the wearer’s eye.

For someone that’s looking for all of the benefits of these lenses but requires an aspherical lens, CooperVision offers Frequency 55 Aspheric lenses. These lenses work by focusing light into a common focal point at the back of the eye rather than a general area. By doing so, Frequency 55 Aspheric lenses are able to provide a better image quality as well as an increased depth of focus. These lenses even work well in low-light situations.

CooperVision also makes Frequency 55 contacts for lens wearers with a condition called presbyopia. Presbyopia is a condition that occurs as a normal part of the aging process of the eye where it becomes more difficult to see items up close. Frequency 55 Multifocal contact lenses are made specifically to address presbyopia. These lenses utilize a unique two-lens system called Balanced Progressive Technology which provides crisp, clear vision up-close and far away, as well as everywhere in between. They are also designed to reduce dryness so that the wearer does not have to rely on eye drops for comfort throughout the day.

For contact lens wearers with astigmatism, which is a defect in the eye caused by a deviation from aspherical curvature that can result in blurry or distorted images, there are Frequency 55 Toric contact lenses. These contacts offer all of the benefits that are associated with the Frequency 55 brand but are specially designed for wearers with astigmatism. For wearers with especially high levels of astigmatism, CooperVision offers Frequency 55 Toric XR lenses.

For anybody searching for a well-made, monthly replaceable contact lens, it is important to consider the Frequency 55 brand of contact lenses by CooperVision. Since 1995, Lens.com has been proud to offer high-quality contact lenses at discount prices. Order Frequency brand contacts from Lens.com and enjoy hassle-free returns, quick shipping, and a 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee.

Optima Contact Lenses

If you’re looking for time-tested, high-quality contact lenses, Bausch and Lomb’s Optima brand of contacts should definitely be considered, as Bausch and Lomb is a company whose name is synonymous with quality eye care.

Ever since John Jacob Bausch and Henry C. Lomb opened their first monocle workshop, Bausch and Lomb has been a major player in the eye care world. Today, they manufacture many of the world’s leading brands of contact lenses, and are one of the leading makers of eye care products such as ReNu and Biotrue. Interestingly enough, Bausch and Lomb were the makers of the popular sunglass brand Ray-Ban before they sold the brand to an Italian company in 1999. With a wide range of high-quality and successful products manufactured by Bausch and Lomb, it is clear to see why their Optima brand of contact lenses has been trusted for over 10 years.

Due to its unique technology and high-quality design, Optima 38/SP contact lenses have been a leading brand of soft contact lenses for over a decade. Designed to correct nearsightedness and farsightedness, they’re composed of 62% polymer and 38% water, which keeps them free from deposits and able to resist dryness and discomfort throughout the day. If you’re concerned about losing or ripping a contact lens, Bausch and Lomb provides an extra pair with each box in case the wearer loses or damagers their current pair.

The Optima Toric contact lens is a soft lens that’s designed to provide comfort and vision correction for those with astigmatism, which is a defect in the lens—resulting in distorted images. Optima Toric lenses are composed of 55% polymer and 45% water, ensuring your eyes will stay moist from insertion to removal. They’re made with a patented Toric Generating lathe-cutting technology which guarantees a comfortable fit. Optima Toric contacts are designed to be worn daily, and the replacement schedule should be determined by an eye care professional. These Optima contact lenses also come with a pair of spare lenses in case of loss or damage, a sign of Bausch and Lomb’s commitment to their customer’s satisfaction.

Since 1995, Lens.com has been proud to offer high-quality contact lenses at discount prices. Order Bausch and Lomb Optima contact lenses from Lens.com and enjoy hassle-free returns, quick shipping, and a 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee.

Preference Contact Lenses

Preference contacts are manufactured by CooperVision, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of soft contact lenses. Incorporated in 1980, CooperVision now manufacturers several of the most popular, high-quality contact lens brands on the market, including Biofinity, Proclear, and Avaira. CooperVision’s excellent contact lenses come in a variety of different replacement schedules and utilize several exclusive technologies, such as Aquaform Technology and PC Technology. These schedules and technologies ensure the highest level of quality and convenience for those who wear Preference contacts. The development and use of these unique technologies demonstrates CooperVision’s dedication to quality and innovation in the world of contact lenses.

CooperVision’s Preference line of contact lenses are designed to correct nearsighted or farsighted vision. Offered in a quarterly replacement schedule, Preference contacts are intended to be worn for three months before being discarded and replaced with a brand new pair. For patients who have met with an eye care professional who has determined this replacement schedule to be appropriate, Preference contact lenses are an excellent choice.

Preference contacts are made from a durable material called tetrafilcon A which helps to resist the build-up of deposits that can cause eye irritation. The use of this material also ensures that the lens is durable and easy to handle. To make these lenses even more convenient for the wearer, they’re manufactured with a blue tint so they can easily be spotted in the solution. The tint does not affect the wearer’s perception of color, however.

CooperVision has also designed Preference lenses for those with astigmatism, which is a condition derived from a cornea or lens that has stretched into an irregular shape causing things to look blurry. Preference Toric contact lenses are also offered in a quarterly replacement schedule. Like Preference contact lenses, they’re designed using materials that guarantee the wearer experiences great vision and comfort throughout wear. Preference Toric lenses also feature the convenient blue tint. If the wearer has a particularly high level of astigmatism, CooperVision offers Preference Toric XR lenses—an excellent alternative to thick and inconvenient glasses.

Contact lens wearers who deal with nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism should definitely consider CooperVision’s Preference brand of contact lenses. Since 1995, Lens.com has been proud to offer high-quality contact lenses at discount prices. Order Preference contacts from Lens.com and enjoy hassle-free returns, quick shipping, and a 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee.

Proclear Contact Lenses

Proclear brand contacts are manufactured by CooperVision, a global leader in contact lenses. Featuring exclusive PC Technology, Proclear contacts are known for providing superior comfort, particularly to those who struggle with eye dryness during lens wear.

PureVision Contact Lenses

PureVision contacts are manufactured by Bausch & Lomb, a leading global supplier of contacts. Since their release in 1999, Bausch & Lomb’s PureVision contacts have made a huge impact on the contact lens industry. Today, these contacts are known for their flexible wearing schedule, innovative optical design, and breathability.

SofLens Contact Lenses

SofLens is manufactured by Bausch & Lomb, a leading global supplier of contact lenses. One of the oldest continually operating companies in the United States today, Bausch & Lomb radically changed the contact lens industry in 1971 with the introduction of SofLens contacts, which were the first mass-produced soft lenses in the country. Today, Bausch & Lomb offers a variety of SofLens contacts for lens wearers who are interested in clarity and convenience regardless of their vision correction needs.

Ultra Contact Lenses

Bausch + Lomb, one of the world’s largest suppliers of contacts and lens care products, first released ULTRA contacts in 2014. The contacts were designed specifically for the digital age. In particular, they were intended to help with dryness associated with digital eye strain. ULTRA contacts also featured a tapered edge design for increased comfort. In 2016, Bausch + Lomb released ULTRA for Presbyopia contacts. Aside from MoistureSeal Technology, these multifocal monthly lenses featured 3-Zone Progressive Design for outstanding near, intermediate, and distance vision as well as seamless transition between distances. In 2017, Bausch + Lomb released ULTRA for Astigmatism contacts — a toric monthly lens that featured innovative OpticAlign Design to ensure stability.

Vertex Contact Lenses

The Vertex brand of contact lenses is produced by CooperVision, a soft contact lens manufacturer and eye care division of the Cooper Companies, Inc. CooperVision was incorporated in 1980 and went public in 1983. Ever since that time, the company has been growing steadily. Since the acquisition of Ocular Sciences, Inc. in 2004, CooperVision has become the third-largest soft contact lens manufacturer in the world. Primarily known for making the popular contact brand Biofinity, Proclear, and Avaira, CooperVision brand contact lenses use a range of different technologies to provide their customers with the best combination of comfort, convenience, and quality. Their lenses are offered in a variety of different replacement schedules, including daily disposable lenses and lenses that only have to be replaced every three months.

Vertex Sphere contact lenses are designed to correct nearsightedness or farsightedness. Offered in a two-week replacement schedule, Vertex contacts should be replaced every other week. This replacement schedule balances the health benefits of daily disposable contact lenses with the convenience of contacts that are replaced every month. Another benefit of Vertex contact lenses is that they’re manufactured using CooperVision’s UltraSync Technology. This process produces an incredible edge on every lens which makes them more stable on the eye. CooperVision’s use of UltraSync Technology makes Vertex contact lenses consistently comfortable and clear.

CooperVision also offers Vertex Toric lenses for wearers who have astigmatism, an eye condition that can result in significant discomfort, blurred vision, and headaches. Designed specifically to address these issues, wearers can see clearly and avoid the discomfort they might experience with other toric contact lenses. Similar to Vertex contacts, Vertex Toric lenses are offered in a two-week replacement schedule. They are also tinted a light blue color so that they can be located easily in contact lens solution. For wearers with a higher level of astigmatism, there are Vertex Toric XR lenses, which provide a higher level of vision correction.

CooperVision’s Vertex contact lenses are an excellent choice for wearers who are nearsighted, farsighted, or have astigmatism. Since 1995, Lens.com has been proud to offer high-quality contact lenses at discount prices. Order CooperVision’s Vertex brand of contact lenses from Lens.com and enjoy hassle-free returns, quick shipping, and a 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee.

What information do I need to order contact lenses?

We’ve made it extra easy to order contacts when ordering through us. To process your order we need your order information, and the name and phone number of your eye doctor. We can do the rest for you. Your order info consists of 1) the patient’s name 2) your lens order 3) credit card information. Your eye doctor is the only other information needed, including their name and contact info. Providing us with your official lens prescription is NOT required to create an order with us, as we can do the verification for you. To begin an order, it can be helpful to know your prescription and that can be conveniently determined from the packaging of your current contact lens box. Our customer care representatives can assist you in understanding your lens information as well. Be aware that eye care professionals are required to provide you with a copy of your prescription upon request. Be sure it contains all the necessary information, including expiration date, and is signed by your eye care professional. But again, when ordering through Lens.com, that copy is NOT required to place an order as we can perform the verification of your prescription for you.
