Now for why I wouldn’t buy a motorbike or scooter from DAYI – Dayimotor

• The company managers don’t understand the mentality of Europeans, they speak and write through an online translator. The Chinese managers themselves hide and deceive about the technical specifications of the goods when they sell them.
• They underestimate the possible risk of motorbike repairs.
• They hold back on the mandatory replacement of the broken or malfunctioning parts, only after their evaluation by an expert in China.
• They overestimate the technical specifications of the sold electric two-wheelers at times.
• They give different capacity for the same parts.
• All the equipment sold by DAYI is designed for small, puny buyers.
• The Chinese want to make money effortlessly, so they only deliver in the Netherlands for 250 euros, and they don’t let anyone who wants to buy on their own into their store in the DAYI shop in the Netherlands.

Buy Dayi e-Odin – Cost comparison and price

Dayi electric scooters or electric motorbikes are sold through various shops in Germany, for example through Otto. The manufacturer promises quick delivery times. Online buying is hassle-free as you can have the bike delivered directly to your home. Here you have a warranty and a right of refusal.

At speeds above 20km/h, you need a helmet according to the StVO to move the motorbike and delivery vehicles. Insurance is also mandatory. A driving licence is also required: for the E Motorrad Odin, it is a Class A, A1, A2 or B driving licence with key number 196.

In connection with electric mobility, the terms federal funding or environmental promotion can often be heard. Although there is funding for electric mobility in Germany through the Electric Mobility Act, there is currently no uniform federal funding. Purchase subsidies are only possible from individual cities/municipalities, but not for all customers.

In Germany, the list price of the Dayi Motor e-Odin Electric 125 with side and top housing is €5,800. Without it, it costs €300 less. Since the model is available from different manufacturers, it’s worth comparing the price. A competitor, the Econelo E motorbike, which only reaches 80km/h, is available for just under €4,000. The Super Soco TC Max with a range of 110 kilometres is available for around €4,900. We don’t think the price of the Dayi Motor e-Odin is justified by its lack of power at all and not much range.

Dayi Motor e-chopper-style electric scooters

In addition to the Odin electric motorbike, Dayi Motor also offers e-chopper-style electric scooters. For example, they call themselves the Harley Citycoco Long Range or Harley Scooter Citycoco Italy and have a range of 115 to 120 kilometres. They travel at 45 km/h in Europe and are therefore not suitable for good city driving. You feel like you’re missing out in traffic. A brushless wheel hub motor will get you to your destination in plenty of time. With the DAYI Motor 4000W Citycoco electric scooter, it’s even faster. It reaches speeds of up to 75 km/h, but not for long.

The Dayi Motor e Delivery Scooter

Take-Out Catering E and Fast Long Range EEC COC Food Delivery E scooter. Apparently, the scooter loads can carry a rear crate on a flimsy bracket. Since the manufacturer refrains from advertising-rich images, many potential customers may lack imagination.

After all, the vendor can charge his mobile phone thanks to the USB port and has the option of upgrading the battery from 20 Ah to 30 Ah or buy an extra not cheap battery. The long seat is also quite attractive for a single driver.
